Pastor Adrian Norwood is a native Atlantan who completed his education in the Dekalb County School System. He continued his education at Morris Brown College, where he pursued a degree in Music Education.

Pastor Adrian Norwood was given a solid foundation in the church ministry as his father and grandfather were both anointed ministers of the gospel. He accredits his greatest training in preperation for the ministry by sitting under his grandfather, Bishop Jessie L. Norwood, and father, Bishop Anthony Norwood, and being mentored by other great men of God.  His christian education began in the younger years spent in Sunday School and the years he spent in bible classes at The Greater Bible Way Miracle Temple. His christian education is a collective effort through Luther Rice Seminary and Ministry With Excellence School of Ministry.

He was later ordained as an Elder through Greater Bible Way. Pastor Norwood continued to serve in his father's ministry as the minister of music, bible school teacher, and the First Assistant to the Pastor.

Pastor Adrian is a skilled and talented musician who used his anointed gift to play behind many pastors in the ministry. It was through his servanthood and obedience that he gained knowledge and insight of ministering through music behind anointed pastors and  developed a love for preaching and teaching the gospel.

In March, 2012, the founder and pastor of the Tabernacle Family Worship Center, Pastor Adrian Norwood, was led by the Holy Spirit to plant a church. In obedience, Pastor Norwood and his family along with a group of believers began meeting weekly for prayer, praise and worship, and bible teaching led by Pastor Norwood. The Tabernacle continues to grow under the spirit filled preaching and teaching of Pastor Norwood. It is his desire to see souls, young and old, transformed by the word of God to effectively impact the Kingdom of God.
