The Brotherhood Ministry is for the men at The Tabernacle to come together to support the Pastor in every facet of the ministry through teaching, ushering, serving as deacons or greeters. This group of men meets once a month for prayer, encouragement, and to discuss the needs of the church. 

The Battalion is the youth and young adult ministry at The Tabernacle based on the scripture Joshua 1:9: "Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." This group was established out of Pastor Norwood's passion for youth to be strong in Christ and be a light to the world. The purpose of this group is to educate young people so that they will grow in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man as Jesus did (Luke: 2:52). The Battalion participate in monthly outings to build cultural experiences and awareness while serving others through Christ. They also meet monthly for prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. The Tabernacle Family supports local organizations that include feeding the homeless and nursing homes. We support The New Way of Life Ministry by serving and worshiping at the Men's Shelter and through nursing home visits. It is our desire and  goal to support local Missions teams in order to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
